Perfil
Sección informativa
Growing up in Sedona, Arizona, USA, Nikki Rohde suffered no “Nature Deficit Disorder” -- rescuing tarantulas, riding horses at scout camp, and searching for the Lost Dutchman gold mine were regular adventures. During her bachelor’s degree at The Evergreen State College in Washington state and master’s at the University of Arizona, she focused on forging sense of place connections to nature. Nikki has worked in environmental education and natural resource interpretation for over 30 years in gardens, parks, and wildlife venues. Since 2015, Nikki has been an independent trainer for the National Association for Interpretation’s Certified Interpreter Guide curriculum which went virtual in 2020 and has taught 25 courses on Zoom so far.
